Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was born on January seventeenth 1706 in Boston,Massachusetts.His parents' names were Josiah and Abiah.He was their tenth child and youngest son.Benjamin Franklin went to school when he was eight years old.He had neat hand writing and was a good reader,but he did poorly in arithmatic.But as he got older he got better at it.Benjamin Franklin had to leave school when he was ten years old because he had to work in his dad's soap and candle shop.He did not like the shop.One dark night Benjamin Franklin ran away to Philadelphia,Pennsilvania.He met a man who had a printing shop.He decided to work for the man,as an apprentice.Soon he got his own printing shop in Philadelphia,Pennsilvania.Benjamin Franklin helped to write many things.Benjamin Franklin married Deborah Read. Benjamin Franklin had three children.One of Ben's children died of smallpox when the child was only four in a half.Ben was very,very,very,very sad.Benjamin Franklin invented the Franklin stove.The Franklin stove was much better than an ordinary fireplace.Ben helped write the peace treaty in France.Benjamin Franklin died at the age of eighty-four.People remembered Ben as a great American.
